ABOUT FRIENDS

The early Friends, also known as Quakers, arose in mid-1600’s England. Dissatisfied with lifeless religion, their hearts longed to experience the true life and power of New Testament Christianity. Today, Friends can be found all over the world.

Simplicity Friends is a Christ-centered outreach and apologetics ministry. We seek to encourage, energize and equip men and women with sound Christian doctrine and faith.

Our worship time centers on a holy expectation that God will speak to us individually and collectively through the written words found in the Bible and through direct revelation of the Holy Spirit. We begin by waiting in silent, contemplative prayer. Our Meeting for Worship is on Sundays at 4 PM.

Our fellowship and study is an open discussion where everyone gets a chance to share. We meet midweek on Wednesdays at 7 PM. Come and discover what the Bible teaches about: our free will, Christ’s universal atonement, our conditional security, the biblical conditions of salvation, resisting God’s grace, women in church leadership, moral absolutes, Christ’s deity, the need to be righteous, spiritual sacraments, the role of works in our salvation and more.

Everyone is welcome with the understanding that we intentionally adhere to a Christian worldview. Our final authority on faith and doctrine is based on the Bible.
